Accessibility
This site aims to be easy to use for everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, larger text or easier-reading settings.
Last tested: 17 October 2026
Standard
The site aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.1
What the site supports
- Display settings in the menu: three text sizes, and an easier-reading option with more space between letters, words and lines.
- Light and dark mode, following your device's setting unless you choose otherwise.
- Keyboard use, with a clearly visible focus outline and a link to skip straight to the content.
- Screen readers: headings, labelled navigation areas, labelled form fields, and text alternatives for the map and tables.
- Colour contrast that meets level AA in both light and dark mode.
- Small screens and zoom: pages work on screens 320 pixels wide and when zoomed in.
- Plain language, in Georgian and English.
- Less movement when your device asks for reduced motion.
- Works without JavaScript for reading and for sending the forms.
Known limitations
- The PDF versions of the policy brief and guides are copies of web pages. The web pages are the most accessible version.
- Many linked sources are on other websites and are in English or other languages.
How the site is tested
With the automated checker axe-core,2 by keyboard only, and on screens from 320 to 1,400 pixels wide, in both languages and both colour modes.
